Internet Marketing: The Beauty of It and The Beast of It
Feb 5th
Those occupied in internet marketing face a veritable “two edged sword”. The beauty of Internet marketing, when contrasted with brick and mortar companies, is the simplicity with which concepts can be assessed before committing considerable amounts of time and monetary investments.
The brick and mortar business can take some instruction from online marketers because when an online marketer discovers, learns to use, and then applies all of the automated programs that have been made available by the online technical market his probability of achievement greatly increases. That is one of the impressive things about internet marketing. Highly technical people who get the picture respecting computer programming, the internet, and marketing have come up with some awesome technological advancements that make it much simpler to succeed in the online world.
Often times, those involved in a typical brick and mortar startup face true “do or die” stress. Since large sums of money are usually involved not succeeding can be very upsetting. Internet marketing does not carry with it the same gloomy threats. When a beginner suffers a set back customarily the most damage suffered means hurt ego and the loss of a trivial investment most of the time. This, by the way, is my preferred part of Internet marketing: The rewards can be awe-inspiring without the danger!
Ok, those were some of the beautiful things regarding Internet marketing.
Moving on to the Bad Stuff.
As you possibly comprehend already, achievement with Internet marketing is not that simple. In all sincerity, the process requires so much trial and error that if failures meant huge losses, few would last long enough to find success. The beast of internet marketing is finding the energy and motivation to continue on.
If you have already had your share of “learning experiences” rest assured you are not alone. Every person who has any success online has been through precisely the same thing. Anyone can succeed in Internet marketing. Here again we are back to the positives of it.
Now take a deep breath… and get back to work!
